Therapeutic Massage feels wonderful and is a perfect vehicle for managing stress of any kind. If you have any form of physical tension or discomfort whether it's from sitting at your office desk or in the car for too long, an accident or operation, sluggish metabolism, postural imbalances or repetitive stress injuries, to name a few, a good massage can go a long way in helping you be much more comfortable and at ease in your body.
Mental and emotional stress may not be as obvious but can be just as much a challenge. We tend to hold on and try to contain our feelings of overwhelm, an incessantly busy mind and wildly fluctuating emotions. Not only does therapeutic massage calm and soothe the nervous system, but by taking a well earned time-out for your self to stop all outer activity and simply receive, you are beginning to re-educate yourself in, and appreciate, the importance of balance in your life.
A massage session will usually involve disrobing, with your modesty and comfort level always being respected.

Healing Touch can be given as part of a massage treatment or as a complete session on its own, in which case you may remain fully clothed. As a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner Anne has come to understand the immense value of restoring wholeness and balance to the human energy field. Healing Touch is endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Association and there are medical doctors and nurses utilizing Healing Touch in many major hospitals across the country.
Gentle touch, which may be on or off the body, works with your energy field to support your own natural ability to heal. It is a relaxing, nurturing and energizing therapy assisting in balancing your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Anne regards this modality as a sacred healing art and has found that five minutes of Healing Touch is as valuable as twenty minutes of massage in regards to the benefits of achieving a truly deep sense relaxation. It is also a wonderful way of gathering and imparting information regarding the integrity and health of our physical and non-physical selves and shows where we can participate more fully in our healing journey.

Breath Awareness is often considered the master key to self healing. It's right under our noses, available 24/7, and it's free! Breath awareness can take us towards a deeper communication between mind and body and expanded consciousness. The breath is a vital connector to our level of aliveness as we tend to breath in a similar way to how we lead our lives. At different stages throughout a session with Anne, she will gently encourage you to be more aware of your breath and will offer some visualizations to breathe more specifically into certain areas of your body to facilitate a sense of inner space and movement.
Awareness of subtly changing our breathing rhythms can produce profoundly simple and extraordinary health benefits and natural healing in our bodies and our lives.
